Project Summary

The project involved the supply of dissolved sulphite monitors. These monitors are used for control of a bisulphate dosing system used to remove ozone prior to GAC. Initially a single monitor was installed to establish confidence. This was upgraded to a dual validated system due to the critical nature of the process.

Added Value/Benefits

The new systems run measure the presence of bisulphate. By maintaining a positive amount of sulphite guarantees that there is no ozone present. This is much more effective than trying to control to zero ozone..
